Welcome to Saab Restoration.com. This site was created to document the restoration of my classic 1991 900SE. While not in bad shape, infact, in very good condition, it needed some important work.
Firstly, it had sat for 2 years, and was kindly donated by the previous owner for free. The car ran and drove fine, was fantastic inside, and very clean all over. I repaired some minor defects and put it through its MOT. It failed.
So, I made the choice. I have always wanted to restore a car, and I love Saab’s. So I SORN’d the car, and decided to take the big step, or the plunge, depending on your point of view.
This site will also document any other Saab that I restore or own. I also have a 1987 Jubilee 900, which is legal, and in good shape.
This site is not meant to compete with any other site, and nor is affiliated with any other SAAB site. This is purely a hobbyist site. I also run and design websites, hence the look of the site.
